How it works

How MATANGEL works

MATANGEL is a commercial intermediary. We do not sell from stock — we start with your requirement and coordinate the search for a supplier who can meet it, on terms you can compare.

Six steps from requirement to transaction

  1. 01

    Requirement submitted

Use the request form to describe the product, specification, quantity, destination and timing. Attach datasheets, drawings or tender documents if you have them. You receive a reference number and an acknowledgement — the acknowledgement is not a quotation or an offer.

  2. 02

    Qualification

We review the requirement for completeness and commercial feasibility. If key information is missing — for example operating conditions, standards or delivery terms — we will ask before starting the search.

  3. 03

    Supply channels identified

Based on the category and specification, we identify relevant supply channels: manufacturers, authorised agents, traders, distributors and sellers of surplus or pre-owned assets.

  4. 04

    Availability & documentation verified

We check candidate suppliers for availability, documentation and their ability to meet the specification. Registration on our website alone never counts as verification.

  5. 05

    Quotations coordinated

We request and structure quotations so that offers can be compared on consistent terms — specification, quantity, Incoterms, lead time and validity.

  6. 06

    Negotiation & transaction support

We support negotiations and coordinate communication between the parties up to the contracting stage. Binding terms are always agreed directly in a written contract.

What helps us move faster

  • A precise specification or datasheet
  • Quantity and whether demand is one-time or recurring
  • Destination country, delivery location and preferred Incoterms
  • Required delivery date and target budget, if known
  • Corporate contact details

What MATANGEL does not do

  • We do not claim to hold stock or guarantee availability.
  • We do not promise the lowest price — we coordinate competitive quotations.
  • We do not disclose buyer or supplier identities without agreement.
  • We do not treat an acknowledgement as an offer or a commitment.

Internal stages of an opportunity

Each requirement is tracked through the same stages so nothing gets lost between steps.

  1. NEW
  2. QUALIFYING
  3. SOURCING
  4. SUPPLIER VERIFIED
  5. QUOTATION
  6. NEGOTIATION
  7. CONTRACTING
  8. WON
